We recently stayed at Hotel Speicher Am Ziegelsee for two nights and had a delightful experience. The waterfront location of the hotel was not only picturesque but also peaceful, providing a perfect setting for relaxation. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the buffet breakfast, which offered a variety of high-quality options. We also enjoyed sipping drinks on the terrace, basking in the afternoon sunshine. The unique architecture of the restored historic brick warehouse added to the charm of our stay.

The hotel had a stunning view and was surrounded by tranquil nature. We especially enjoyed the e-bikes that we rented from the hotel, which made it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was good and filling. The free Wi-Fi was a plus and worked wonderfully.

some aspects of the service could use improvement. For example, we found it unreasonable to be charged for a taxi to deliver our laundry for service.

Speicher Am Ziegelsee is a decent hotel in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Pomerania. The provided database allowed me to see that the room I booked had a sofa and plenty of space, which was a great feature. being west facing meant that the room received a lot of sunlight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

There were a couple of drawbacks that I experienced during my stay. the room did not have a safe or a fridge/minibar, which I found to be a bit inconvenient.

The hotel had a lake view, and the breakfasts were good. Also, the bed was comfortable.

The WiFi was awful. I couldn't connect, and the bathtub was quite dangerous. The bottom was slippery and the rim was too high, so getting out could easily result in a fall. Furthermore, the showerhead fell out of the holder and hit me, which could have caused an injury.

I chose Speicher Am Ziegelsee because of its convenient location near Schwerin Castle, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless internet access provided by the hotel. It made it easier for me to plan my days and stay connected with loved ones. I also enjoyed dining at the onsite restaurant, aurum, with its al fresco dining option. the hotel offered great amenities for a comfortable stay.

Rooms felt a bit tired/basic without air conditioning or fans. No complimentary hot drinks in the bar.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with an unbeatable location right next to the tranquil lake. The town center was just a short walk away, making it the ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast spread was delicious. We also enjoyed the stunning view of the lake from our room and the bar. The free wifi was a great advantage.

The laundry service was a bit disappointing as they charged an extra fee for the taxi ride to the laundry service.

We had a lovely stay with a spacious room and a direct view of the lake. The hotel facilities were great, including the restaurant that served excellent food for both breakfast and dinner. The staff was very polite and helpful, making us feel welcome. Additionally, parking was not an issue, and the location was convenient and close to the city center.
